I have been involved in synchronised swimming for as long as I can remember. Both my mum and my granny were coaches at Henley and Reading synchro clubs when I was very young. They were also on the county committee, this may have something to do with it. I did my first show at Henley when I was 5 or 6 with a Winnie the poo swimming costume. I started competing as soon as I was old enough, I always won a medal. I swam at Henley and Reading till I was 10 and then continued competing at Henley until I was 19. I started coaching when I was 14. I have in the last two years achieved my Level 1 syncrho coaches, level 2 synchro coaches, level 1 teaching aquatics and many CPDs added. I am the club wellfare officer, this means that children can aproach me with any personal issues. I teach swimming lessons every day at the Henley leisure centre including the beginner aqua fun stage 8-10 synchro, I also co-ordinate the all swimming lessons at the leisure centre. Synchronised swimming has been and always will be a part of my life.
