Two of our Henley synchro girls went on the Blackpool residential camp organised by GB synchro Olympian Katie Dawkins (right in pink top). Mikki also went along to chaperone and coach.

The two girls from Henley were Rosalia (back left swimmer) and Alexandra (front row 2nd from left swimmer). Both girls improved dramatically, this was noticed by the coaches and they were awarded with a prize of GB kit from Katie. They made friends with all the girls and had a really fun time. Training consisted of land training strength and flexibility, pool sessions with stamina and synchro skills, nutrition talks and fun activities in the evenings. The girls also got to choreograph and perform a routine. All the swimmers really benefited from the camp, swimmers ranged in age and ability from age 8-16 and grade 1 to skill 4.

There is another residential camp at Millfield school in December being run by Katie. Please see Mikki for details.
