Our club was very lucky to have Cleo Hooper from British gymnastics rhythmic gymnastics coach our stretch class and show us some stretching tips.

the session started with a warm up of 5 nonstop minutes of skipping.

We learnt lots of  new upper body stretches which will really help with dynamic arm movements and core control. We also did a lot of hamstring work to improve our splits.

Above is Cleo stretching Roselia to her limits. You’ll be glad to know that she sat comfortably flat in her splits after this. Some of the other girls had a go at this as well. Remember always warm up and have a coach or adult with you if trying this at home!
